Reports To
The Clinical Director will directly report to Saleemah McNeil, the Director at Oshun Family Center.
Position description:
Full-time, salaried position with Oshun Family Center. This is a hybrid position (virtual and in-person expectations).
The ideal candidate is willing to learn and develop their clinical skills. We will work together to develop your clinical interests and niche. Ideal candidates will be those who are committed to providing excellent clinical services and are aligned with Oshun’s mission. We are looking for dedicated BIPOC clinicians who would like to join an every-expanding organization and have the opportunity to contribute to its growth and development. You will be able to obtain hours and supervision towards licensure.
The position pays for the clinical contact hours with clients. Flexible working hours from home. Compensation will increase upon performance.
Licensed Therapist Responsibilities (to include, but not limited to)
Available for crisis consultation as needed. Capable of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
Ensures that the most effective treatment approaches are utilized; developing new models of treatment.
Monitors regulatory and clinical standards; productivity and quality assurance efforts, meet contractual reporting requirements and performance standards.
Provides individual and group supervision to three pre-licensed clinicians.
Updates, maintains and complies with Oshun's policies and procedures as it relates to all clinical program operations.
Eligibility Requirements and Clearances
MHC or LMSW from an accredited program
Experience working with community-based organizations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passion and enthusiasm about Black Maternal Health
Organized, self-motivated, ability to work independently and well within a team
Access to reliable transportation, internet service and technology
Completion of full COVID-19 Vaccination schedule
Child abuse clearance, background check and FBI Finger-printing
Experience working in a hospital or clinical environment (preferred)

The Maternal Wellness Village (MWV) functions under the auspices of Oshun Family Center which is based in Philadelphia, PA. Applicants should be based in the Greater Philadelphia Area as contributions will be a combination of in-person and virtual.

Licensed Therapist Responsibilities (to include, but not limited to)
Provide psychotherapy services to a caseload minimum of 10 clients, for 50 minutes, including individuals, couples, and families.
Maintain case notes, logs and all required documentation
Participates in weekly individual and/or group clinical supervision, administrative meetings, and other relevant meetings
Manage own caseload including documentation, and diagnosing
Assists in creation and implementation of workshops, trainings and seminars, as opportunities arise
Willingness to create and implement an ongoing group
Maintain up-to-date progress notes, correspondence regarding client, treatment plans, and discharge summaries within expected timeframes.
Eligibility Requirements and Clearances
